When my thoughts drift to you

Last night driving home in the sunrise,

Tears fell from my eyes because of your lies.

Water rushed down my face,

Clearing and cleansing my heart space.

A physical release of all the pain you’ve caused me,

I can finally see clearly.

I awoke this evening renewed,

Free from all that I formerly pursued.

Filled with the brightest light,

because I was able to let go of our plight.

So cry fellow souls, let it all out.

At the end of the day feeling emotions is all this life is about.
